The building which is owned by Stoneferry Estates Ltd has been extensively refurbished specifically for new tenants Menkind Limited who will be using it as a storage and distribution facility.  Menkind recently acquired Red 5 Retail a business set up by the former directors of The Gadget Shop.  PPH Director Ben Medhurst negotiated the transaction and commented “This transaction is fantastic news for the Hull and East Riding, Menkind could have chosen any City in the UK to base their new warehousing facility and have chosen Hull.  The landlords have refurbished the building extensively, within a tightscale.  Local construction company B & H Buildings Ltd carried out the work and did a fantastic job.  Stoneferry Estates Ltd should also be congratulated on their pragmatic approach to the refurbishment of the property which has now resulted in their entire portfolio being fully let for the first time in a number of years.  This is reflective of the strength of the local marketplace for industrial accommodation”.
