PSYCHOLOGY COMPANY TO MOVE INTO HESSLEWOOD HALL BUSINESS CENTRE
Applied Psychologies is the latest company to become tenants of the historic Hesslewood Hall Business Centre, which is currently undergoing a £100,000 refurbishment.
Applied Psychologies, who will move into the Business Centre on July 3, mainly provide educational psychology services, building long term relationships with schools, and also work in business, sport and community sectors.
Dr David Lamb, Applied Psychologies Director, said: “Hesslewood Hall Business Centre will provide our first permanent base in Hull. We have a team of seven people working in the area and they will all be under the same roof for the first time.”
“The building is stunning. It really does have the wow factor, with amazing features and grounds. We work in schools throughout the region so the Business Centre is in an ideal location for easily getting onto the A63 and accessing the motorway network,” he added.
When Applied Psychologies move into the Business Centre, only two offices will still be available, from a total of 16. Dating back to the early 1700s, the building is the oldest on the Hesslewood Country Office Park and was the Hull Seamen’s and General Orphanage from 1921 to 1985.
David Warren and Malcolm Noble are joint majority owners of the building. David Warren said: “The Business Centre is a grade 2 listed building so the refurbishment has to take account of this status. We are upgrading kitchens, toilets, the reception and other communal areas. It’s a beautiful building and we are providing some TLC to further enhance its qualities.”
“We offer serviced office space with a fully manned reception, so tenants have the privacy of their own office suite but also the economy of sharing costs such as security, heating, and building maintenance,” he added.
The two remaining offices – of 505 sq ft and 533 sq ft – are being let by PPH Commercial.
Ben Cooper, Divisional Director at PPH Commercial, said: “The offices are unique because they are in amazing grounds that overlook woodland to the Humber and their features include hand carved marble Adam fireplaces. The offices are available on flexible, all inclusive terms with early occupation available.”
