PPH PROUD TO HELP BRING PUREX – AND 17 NEW JOBS – TO EAST YORKSHIRE
Established in 1985, the fast-growing company is now one of the biggest suppliers of dust and fume extraction solutions in the UK and operates in a wide range of industries and sectors.
Currently located next to the M18 in Thorne, near Doncaster, Purex will soon be opening an additional manufacturing facility at Humber Enterprise Park in Brough to satisfy increasing demand for their highly-specialised products. They have now taken ownership of the 20,000sqft facility known as the ‘B Shed’ and will use it to design and make their bespoke ducting and filter systems.
Renown for the quality and reliability of its technology, Purex are hoping to tap into the strong manufacturing history which exists in East Yorkshire during their hunt for new staff.
Purex are the latest in a long line of companies to move in to the former home of British Aerospace in the last 12 months, an indication of the confidence which exists in the regional economy.
Having worked hard to negotiate this commercial property deal, PPH director Ben Medhurst is delighted to achieve such a satisfactory outcome for all parties.
He said: “Nothing pleases me more than helping to bring new companies and new jobs to our region. Purex clearly have a very bright future ahead of them and I hope the move surpasses all of their expectations.”
