PPH completes industrial deal at Kingston International Business Park
Paneltex is celebrating expansion success after securing the letting of Unit 6 at the Kingston International Business Park.
In a bid to boost their ambition to be the UK’s market leaders in commercial, refrigerated and specialised vehicle body builders, the Hull-based company have secured the 62,500 sq ft purpose-built warehouse, on Hedon Road.
Commenting on the deal, Paneltex Managing Director Chris Berridge said: “The start of the global pandemic early in 2020 created a surge in demand for many Paneltex products and managing a growing production output through the year was a significant challenge. Everything had to be done much faster than ever before, and this was the case when we needed additional warehousing space towards the end of the year.
“Working with their client and two legal teams, PPH Commercial did a great job in getting us into this space in just a few weeks, a remarkable response which is helping us to deliver extra food delivery vans to our customers over this winter.
“Our thanks go to PPH Commercial, Crestwood and Rollits who helped to make this happen so quickly.”
PPH Director Ben Medhurst, who negotiated the transaction on behalf of existing tenant Crestwood Ltd, added: “It is great to see Paneltex take this additional space as part of their continued expansion in the city. On behalf of everyone at PPH, I would like to wish Chris and the Paneltex team all the very best in their new unit.”
