Phase 1 Standard Business Park – Now Let

PPH Commercial are delighted to announce the letting of the first phase of the newly refurbished Standard Business Park on National Avenue to Howden Joinery Limited.  The refurbished space extends to over 290,000 sq ft and has been let to Howden Joinery who will be using the site for storage and distribution purposes.  The business park is the former home of Ideal Standard who used the site as a manufacturing facility.  The site was sold recently by PPH Commercial and purchased by the Adhan Group from Lancashire.  Adhan have committed to a multi-million pound refurbishment programme for the entire site which is now coming to fruition.  Ben Medhurst, Direction of PPH Commercial who negotiated the transaction on behalf of the Adhan Group commented “it is fantastic to see the former Ideal Standard site being brough back to life by Adhan’s significant investment in the city of Hull.  Howden Joinery Limited had an outstanding requirement and moved very quickly to secure the space taking all of Phase 1.  I can also confirm that Phase 2 which totals 180,000 sq ft is now under offer to another single occupier with a lease that is due to complete once the refurbishment works have concluded in March of this year.  This leaves Phase 3 which extends to 110,000 sq ft which is also being fully refurbished by Adhan.  Interested parties are advised to register early interest in this space”.
