Kepi International relocates Global Operations to new headquarters in Driffield
Kepi International Solutions is known around the world for its surveying, design and civil engineering expertise during the exploration, extraction and processing phases.
Established in 2011 by chief executive officer Craig Carmichael, who is from Driffield, the company has expanded rapidly and currently has offices and operations in the UK, Romania, the Middle East and Africa.
But the company is preparing to centralise all its operations in East Yorkshire after acquiring a 12,500sqft industrial unit on Skerne Road in Driffield, which was being marketed by PPH Commercial.
Whilst Kepi’s core business is closely associated with the oil, gas and mining industries, they also make modular buildings for commercial and domestic use – converting former sea containers into offices, workshops, laboratories, clinics and living spaces.
Their new five-and-a-half-acre Skerne Park development site has excellent transport links via rail or road and is located within walking distance of the town centre, where they currently have an office on Exchange Street.
The move to bigger premises should allow the modular side of the business to grow and could potentially create dozens of new full-time jobs in the long term.
Ben Medhurst, the divisional director who conducted the deal for PPH Commercial, said: “Kepi are a well-known global company who provide specialist services in an expanding market.
“It’s always very pleasing to help a local business which wants to grow and it would be great if this relocation helps to create new jobs as it will provide a significant boost for the local economy.”
