CHARLES RUNS FOR CHARITY

Charles completed the 13.1-mile course in 2 hours and 6 minutes on September 9 to raise awareness and money for the Ellie Penrose Fund – PPH Commercial’s chosen charity.

Set up by Tom and Pauline Penrose in 2015, the Fund honours the memory of talented athlete and academic Ellie Penrose by helping young people to access, participate and excel in sport.

The Fund, which is really for those who just need that little bit of assistance and encouragement, provides support for young people aged 21 and under, who wish to participate in sport, but lack the finances to do so. Assistance may be to simply provide a running top or trainers or to possibly fund the transport needed to reach events.
