Acquisition of 33 acres of industrial land off Clough Road in Hull

PPH Commercial are delighted to announce to acquisition of 33 acres of industrial land off Clough Road in Hull. The site, formerly owned by British Gas, has been purchased by Bankside Business Park Ltd, a subsidiary of the Ashcourt Group. Ben Medhurst of PPH Commercial who negotiated the acquisition of the site on behalf of the new owners commented, I am delighted to have acted for landowners on this strategic purchase of employment development land at Bankside Business Park.

It was great to work with Kurt Bousfield at Ashcourt, Ian Hartley from Squire Patton Boggs provided legal advice for Ashcourt.  Iain Cairns and Richard Dunhill at BNP Paribas Real Estate acted for the owners National Grid with legal advice from Addleshaw Goddard’s Leeds office.

The site has been very well received in the marketplace with 3 deals already agreed and over half the site already in solicitors’ hands, but there is still over 16 acres that are fully available. The owners would look at open storage uses or design and build opportunities on industrial units including warehouses and  trade counter units.
