100 new jobs could be created as Beverley’s £10m Capital Park secures major national brand
THE owners of a new Beverley business park are confident the £10m development could create up to 100 jobs having secured a prestigious national tenant and fielded a huge number of enquiries from a wide range of businesses.
Capital Park, a modern 80,000sqft development within the Grovehill Industrial Estate, is a speculative industrial development that has been designed by Brooklands Property Holdings Ltd to meet market demand.
The site recently welcomed the arrival of national brand Euro Car Parts on a ten-year lease and two local SMEs are also moving in to occupy Units 7a and 7g during September.
Already home to Cumberland Comms, a local telecommunications infrastructure company, the remaining units are attracting a buzz of enquiries, from well-known national names and local SMEs.
Brooklands Property Holdings CEO Debbie Barbor explained: “There is a massive shortage of hybrid units like this available in the Beverley area, so we expect the development to prove very popular. The site has been developed to align with the increased demand for high-quality semi-industrial spaces.
“We are obviously thrilled to have secured such a well-known national name like Euro Car Parts and our projections indicate that the development could create at least 100 new full-time jobs, which is a great boost for the local labour market.”
Enquiries are now welcome
Boasting a diverse range of clients, including FTSE 100 companies and national and local businesses, Brooklands Property Holdings is a private investment and development group, focusing on high-quality retail, office and trade counter properties across Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and Surrey. They have a proven track record for creating successful trade counter and industrial parks, owning and managing The Point, Pioneer Park in Hull, Europa Park in Grimsby and Hesslewood Office Park.
Viewings are now welcomed for the remaining units available at Capital Park, which is being marketed by PPH Commercial, the Hull-based chartered surveyors and commercial property consultants.
Located within the Grovehill Industrial Estate on Annie Reed Road, Beverley, the site is ideally positioned for access to the East Coast, York and Hull city centre, which lies just 9 miles away. The M62 is also just 12 miles away.
Suitable for trade counter, commercial or general industrial use, each of the new-build hybrid units ranges in size from 1,333sqft to 50,000sqft.
Constructed on a steel portal frame with a 2m-high block wall and insulated sheet metal cladding, the modern building is visually attractive to visiting customers and practical for businesses, thanks to its 6m high eaves. If required, a mezzanine floor can be installed for additional office or storage space.
To future proof the business park and enhance its green credentials, EV charging ports have also been incorporated within the gated car parking area and the units are anticipated to receive high Energy Performance Certificate assessments.
Ideal location for ambitious businesses
Reflecting on the type of interest expected, Ben Cooper, PPH Commercial’s Divisional Director for Office & Industrial Property, said: “Capital Park is an exciting speculative industrial scheme which has been carefully designed to cater for the market and the demands of modern businesses.
“Beverley is a thriving area which has benefitted from an influx of people in recent years, due to the development of several new-build housing schemes. We expect to field a large number of enquiries from innovative businesses.
